What Does This Thyroid Test Result Mean?

If I am taking Eltroxin for my underactive thyroid. Why does my LAB result for TSH read high at 7.42 mlU/L, but my Free T4 is 12 pmoI/L and my Free T3 is 4.4 pmoI/L are within range? What does this tell me? I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto s if that helps

Hi
The results indicate that you are hypothyroid and for that reason you need to have the dosage of your Eltroxin increased to get your TSH level below 2.0
