What Does This Torch Test Result Mean?

hi i am 9 weeks pregnant i had a torch test in which rubella antibody IgG is postive and at 25.0 /IU/L and cytomegalo virus antibody IgG is also positive 1.78 A.I. is there anything to worry about and is my beby safe??????????i m really worried please guide.

Hi,

Please calm down your baby is safe. TORCH Test is to check your immunity for different viruses. Rubella IgG positive is good news it means because of infection in past you are immune to it. CMV IgG Positive also means you have developed antibodies because of previous infection usually it does not affect the baby. Please tell me about your age and previous pregnancy outcome.
