What Does This Trans Vaginal Ultrasound Scan Finding Indicate?

Hi, I had a transvaginal ultrasound and it shows elongated anechoic mass on my left adnexa measuring 31x12.3mm. Also I have thickened endometrium with 12.4mm in thickness, borders not intact. On the impression findings, the remarks is hydrosalphinx, left. I had tubal ligation on year 2006. What does it mean? Is there something to be worry about?

Hello,
Thanks for writing.
This ultrasound clearly states that ur suffering from hydrosalpinx which is in simple terms swelling of fallopian tube.
Its very common and it may occur simply with pelvic inflammatory disease or may be associated with a mass.
It can be drained or can be removed laparoscopically.
A pap smear or biopsy will be more confirmatory.
Thanks
