What Does This Transvaginal Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Hi! I am 37 years old and been ligated since 2007. I ve experienced an almost 2 weeks vaginal bleeding and undergo transvaginal ultrasound and the impression is i have a thickened heterogenous endometrium that has a 1.47 thick. Is it possible for me to have a bleeding again? Thank you!
Well, it is not obvious what you had ligated, but if your tubes were tied you will still get periods. Excessive bleeding should be examined with a hysteroscopy.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Anders Mark Christensen, General Surgeon
