Welcome to health care magic.
1.In a women in her age of 61 years post-menopausal the endometrial thickness should be thin some where about 4-5mm, any thing more that 8-10mm can be suspicious.
2.Thickened endomtrium will be seen in case on inflammatory changes, polyps, endometrial growth.
3.In this case a swab taken from the endometrium will be helpful to evaluate the cause.
4.I would recumbent to get the
pap smear done as scheduled.
5.The report also indicates rest of the scan appears normal, initially
hormonal treatment will be given, followed by endomerial swab / scraping.
Good luck.
