What Does This Ultrasound Report During 19 Weeks Of Pregnancy Indicate?

Yes I am about 19w5d wks pregnant and I was looking over a previous ultrasound as had some questions. I m not sure what all these abbreviations mean but: AC 137.3mm, FL 25.9mm, BPD 43.5mm and HC 158.2. My question is does this seem like normal measurements at this stage of pregnancy? The ultrasound was taken at 18w2d....

Hi,
Thanks for posting in HCM.
I understand your concern.
Here are the details of abbreviations used for your obstretic scan:
1. FL is 'Femur Length'. Measures the longest bone (Thigh bone) in the body and reflects the longitudinal growth of the fetus. It should be approximately 27mm at 18 weeks.
2. AC is 'Abdominal circumference'. It reflects more of fetal size and weight rather than age.
It should be approximately 129mm at 18 weeks.
3. BPD is 'Biparietal diameter'. The diameter between the 2 sides of the head. It should be approximately 42mm at 18 weeks.
4. HC is 'Head circumference'. It should be approximately 150mm at 18 weeks.

The measurements appear to be near normal.
Hope the information provided is clear.
Kindly get you proper antenatal care done.
All the best.
