General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As per my clinical experience, the ultrasound report is indicative of absence of cardiac activity which means:
- Fetal demise
- Impending fetal death
- IUGR
- Chronic active maternal smoking
- Maternal hypertension (above 180/100 mm Hg)
- Placental compression hampering fetal blood supply as in case of umbilical vessel thrombosis or others
- Maternal consumption of over dose cocaine, heroin

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
