What Does This Ultrasound Report For Kidneys Indicate?

My right Kidney shows mild pelviectasis. The right kidney measures up to 12.3 cm in length. The visualized abdominal aorta and ivc are unremarkable. There is no free fluid identified the visualized portion of the abdomen. I am getting pain in my stomach.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

As a physician I would like to tell you that Mild Pelviactesis (Hydronephrisis) is a inflammation of kidney. In your case it is mild, so as of now you have nothing to worry about. So, I would like to tell you that you have to get treatment for your underlying condition which is giving rise to hydronephrosis and your pain in abdomen will be gone.

Hope this will help you. Feel free to ask any further question.

Regards,
Dr. Abhijeet
