What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

result of test says moderate diffuse increased echogenicity of the liver consistent with fatty infiltration. A 8 mm gallstone in neck of gall bladder. A 1.9 cm simple cyst present in the anterior as pect of the right kidney and its midportion. What does this all mean. Ultrasound done for back and chest pain.

Thanks for following up.It seems you have signs of fatty liver, cholestasis and cholelithiasis. The cyst of right kidney. I think you have liver colic,because you have obstruction of chole bladder. Consult your surgeon and gastroenterologist for further treatment. They can proposed cholecystectomy,treatment by ursofalk 500mg 2 tablets in bed time 2months if stones are soluble. Cyst in kidney-you should just observe, if you will not have UT infection then nothing will happens, if you will have pielonephritis cyst will contain pus.
