General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Ovarian cysts usually gets absorbed with time without causing any symptoms. Some large cysts may remain and cause irregular period, excess hair growth and infertility. Although there is no cure, there are many ways to decrease / eliminate PCOS symptoms.Hormonal pills are the common medication given. Treatments include birth control pills to regularise periods.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
