this is the ultrasound report of my sister she recently got married a year before.their family wants a baby in their home .she had pain in her abdomin as well back region. she is only 21 now .she went to dr and she come to know she has a cyst in the right ovary 3*4cm please is this will effect fertility ? will it prohibit pregnancy ? does it need any treatment ? please guide me what to do? feeling sad please
Ovarian cysts usually gets absorbed with time without causing any symptoms. Some large cysts may remain and cause irregular period, excess hair growth and infertility. Although there is no cure, there are many ways to decrease / eliminate PCOS symptoms.Hormonal pills are the common medication given. Treatments include birth control pills to regularise periods.
