What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

Dear Doctor I have completed 8 month of pregnancy and step to 9 month.my 9 month have started from 13 august .I have done my obstetric colour dopplar on 18/8/2015 .according to that dopplar. It is shown that a single live foetus in cephalic presentation at 33.3 weeks of geastational age .and a loop of cord seen around the neck of foetus and another loop of cord is seen adjacent to the neck..the weight of my babby is 2,159gms and heart beat is 142 beats/minute..but my doctor say that I m 35 weeks pregnant. ..I m very worried coz this is my first child. Also when I did ultrasound anomaly scan on 22/4/2015. In that report my EDD was 19/9/2015 .but now in obstetric colour dopplar my EDD is 3/10/2015. Then why suddenly 14 day more delay .my doctor say that my child have not full developed so they prescribe me ARG 9 ..I m very tense..

Hi,

Baby weight increases mostly in 9th month till then all the organs develop and get mature. Don't be tense if physical growth is fine. Your baby is premature by weight and that's why the estimated due date had been shifted to give it sufficient time for full growth.

You have been given medication for weight gain of baby even if the weight is 2.5 khs by the old expected date you and baby would be safe. About the cord around neck, this changes as a baby moves freely in uterus.The cord post lotion at the delivery time is important.

For self care, start noting down baby movements in a fixed time every day. If you find the movements considerably increased or decreased, reach your doctor for check up and needful USG scan. They will be confirming cord position when you are in labor or due for LSCS. Believe your doctor.
