What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

My cousin s ultrasound report says-30mm x12mm tubular anechoic lesion of duct morphology is seen in periareolar region of left breast. Mild duct wall thickening or intraductal septa is seen. Another small 12mm cystic lesion is also noted in upper outer quadrant of left breast. Impression - focal ductal ectasia involving the periareolar region of the left breast. Is it a serious health problem?

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, the imaging study does not reveal anything danger but biopsy need to be done for reach up to right diagnosis, it may not seems like malignancy, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
