General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your reported ultrasound appears to be reassuring without any concerns. The finding of nabothian cysts seen in the cervix is mucus-filled cysts on the surface of the cervix which generally, they do not require any treatment because they appear and disappear on their own.

Being benign, these cysts recover on their own. The size reported on your ultrasound to be very small sized with the largest measuring 7 mm.

You may, however, want to have a routine checkup to keep monitoring on the shape and size of the lumps once a year or so.

Bottom line, they do not really affect your health or body and therefore do not require any treatment unless they grow really larger to be concerned.

You may want to get further blood tests for fertility testing if you are planning to get pregnant and have not been successful with irregular periods.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Katie Lee, General & Family Physician
