What Does This Ultrasound Report Indicate?

57 yrs old menopausal women with endometrium ill-defined and mildly thickened measuring up to 9 mm. Possible hypoechoic mass within it suspicious for a polyp. it measure 5 x 3 x 5 mm. No fibroids are seen. have a biopsy coming up. how much risk for something serious given ill-defined and 9 mm? what quesitons should I be asking my gynec?

In post menopausal women mass is not normal and whenever mass detected biopsy is always advisable

It can be malignant or Benign... But don't worry...
With the biopsy and histopathology examination the picture will be clear

Provide your histopathology report when done

After report ask your doctor whether it is Benign or malignant and how is the prognosis of my case
