Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Does This Ultrasound Report Of Uterus Indicate?
I got back some results from the doctor and it read edometrium measures 9mm in thickness. Is this good or bad! Second There is a heterogeneous subserosal uterine lesion measuring 8×6×6 . Also a posterior hypoechoic uetrine lesion. Small calcification in right ovary. Doppler flow is seen within both ovaries.
I can understand your concern and would try to help you in the best possible way. The thickness of endometrium varies ith your phases of menstrual cycle. It may range from 2 mm during proliferative phase to even 16 mm during secretory phase. Please mention your age and menstrual cycle status for a better information. Another thing is that you have a subserosal fibroid in you USG report. I suggest you consult a gynec for that. Fibroids needs treatment with either medications or surgery depending upon the symptoms and patient preferance. I suggest you discuss the choices with your gynec.
