What Does This Ultrasound Scan Of Uterus Indicate?

My mother is 62 years old. she has done her USS scan and turns out that her Uterus is bulky measuring at 10.5 cm. the endometrium is 7mm thick . She has done a biopsy 5months ago that came out negative. Now she repeated the scan but this time she did an intraviganal scan and turns out she has a polyp measuring 0.8x 1.5 . her doctor recommended d&c but said it wasn't very urgent. What do you think while knowing that there has been no bleeding throughout?
