What Does This Ultrasound Scan Report During Pregnancy Mean?
Hi,I m deepa. My LMP was 26 may 2015. I went for my first scan on 3/8/15. I got brown spotting on that day so dr adviced me to scan. After u/s Dr said no cardiac activity is seen. Internal os is closed. Should I go for abortion, or should I wait for 1 week more.please suggest me. I m so depressed. Waiting for your reply.
Hi Deepa, Thanks for posting in HCM. As per the history given by you regarding your LMP, it seems that you should be about 8 weeks + pregnant. History of spotting and together with no cardiac activity indicates that your pregnancy is not a viable one. It could result in miscarriage. Since you have not given much details about the ultrasound scan, it is difficult to advise what could be done next. Kindly consult your doctor what next steps should be undertaken. Hope the information provided helps you. All the best.
