What Does This Ultrasound Scan Report Indicate?

Hello Doctor, I am sri ram from Chennai, India, Now my wife went for pregnancy 5 month over scan, From today 6th month start. The scan report as follows, Can i know the report in detail. I like to know my baby growth and health can anyone help me please. i am for away 1000kms from my family my wife shared this report. BPD-49MM-20WEEKS-6DAYS HC-188MM-21WKS-1DY F.A.C.-171MM ,F.L-34MM H.L-31MM Umbilical artery-2.3-.5ri -.8pl RT.uterine artery-2.4-.5- .9 lt.uterine artery-1.9-0.4-0.7 Posterior horn of lateral ventricle is not dilated measuring 6.3mm Fetal body weight-423.13g+/_63.47g If any negative also no problem kindly share.

Hello, welcome to HcM. Mr. sriram, the report is absolutely normal. the growth parameters are normal. To brief the report, growth per pregnancy months is detected by seeing various parameters like head transverse diameter, head circumference. From both of this fetal age is coming to 21 weeks (average) . other parameters measurements also added to see the fetal age. so they have given various bone length. Then mentioned about whether the blood perfusion through uterus artery and umbilical cord is normal.Then mentioned about fetal brain cavities which are normal.Taking all paramaters into consideration, the fetal weight has come to average 450 gm. Dont worry relax and both of you enjoy this pregnancy period. Take care of your wife.
