What Does This Ultrasound Test Result Mean?

HI i AM 31 YEARS OLD, LMP: 16-12-2015, TODAY i DID ULTRA SOUND AND BELOW RESULTS i GOT single, intra-uterine viable fetus. Fetal heart rate measure 145BPM Plancenta is anterior in location. A Hyperechoic area is noted at the lower edge of the placenta measuring 1.9x0.9cm, sugestive of hematoma. Posterior myometrial contraction is noted. Amniotic fluid is adequate. Kindly explain each sentence...

Thanks for posting in HCM.
The following things can be inferred from the ultrasound report you have posted.
1. There is pregnancy with a viable single fetus.
2. Heart rate of 145 beats per minute is normal.
3. Placenta is located towards the front.
4. Amniotic fluid (fluid surrounding fetus) is adequate.
5. Uterine muscle contraction has been seen on the back side.
6. Collection of clotted blood is noted at the lower edge of placenta, which measures 1.9 X 0.9 cm.
