Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I m in the middle of an insurance transition and don t have a primary care provider yet. A urinalysis with culture lab was taken and came back after the transition stating that my WBC was 11-30 /hpf with 0-5 /hpf being normal. It also says that there is mucus present in my urine. Everything else is normal. Do I need to see a doctor at all, a general practice doctor, or a urologist?
Hello and thanks you for your query. I am Dr. Rommstein and I will try to help you as much as I can with my answer.
I don't think. If there are no symptoms and no bacteria in urine there is no need to be worried. These findings are. it specific and I dint think it indicates some disorder. I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
