What Does This Urinalysis Report Indicate?

My urinalysis report are the following:

Color: yellow
Transparency: sl. hazy
Reaction: 6.5
Specific Gravity: 1.005
Protein: negative
Sugar: negative
PUS: 12-14/hpf
Epithelial Cell: few
Mucus Treads: some
Others: a. urates-few

I'm in my 15 weeks pregnancy..
Please help me to understand this report..thanks en God bless you!!

Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I have gone through your urine analysis report. High pus cell suggests UTI. Pregnancy is a risk factor to develop UTI as relaxation of smooth muscle of urinary tract. Uterus compress the bladder which lead to incomplete voiding of urine and that result to more chance of UTI. UTI may cause low birth weight baby and pre term labour. So contact a gynecologist and take proper treatment.

Following treatment will helpful:

1. Drink plenty of water, minimum eight glass/day.
2. Juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple.
3. Wipe area after urination.
4. Avoid to delay bladder emptying and empty it completely.

Take antibiotics ciprofloxacin/norfloxacin, tablet pyridium and syrup cital. Take shower rather than bath. Repeat the urine test after 14 days or after completion of treatment to know eradication of infection.
