What Does This Urinalysis Report Mean?

Please Help on my Urinalysis test result: Female Age 31.5 Physical: Color- Yellow, Transparency- SL. Turbid, Specific Gravity- 1.010, Reaction- 5.0 Chemical: Sugar- Negative, Protein- Trace Microscopic: Pus Cell- 10-15 per hpf, Rbc- 4-6 per hpf, Epithelial Cells- few, Bacteria few, Am. Urates- Few Thank you very much

Hello. Good day. Thanks for writing to HCM. I am Dr Praveen and I will be answering your query today.

It indicates you are having an urinary tract infection as the pus cells are high and bacteria is present. Are you having your menstrual cycles or recently had it? The red blood cells (RBC) could be as a result of that or even in some patients with infection / kidney stones. The protein seen is trace which is abnormal but that is due to the infection in the urine.
You need to do a urine culture and get treated with an apt antibiotic. Drink lots of water.
Repeat the urine r/e after 2 wks of treatment.
