Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I have pain in lower right side of abdomen. Went to ER and Dr did urine test results that show WBC normal, RBC (high) 4-10, Bacteria many, Squam epith cells few and mucous present. For blood tests, all normal except UA HGB 2+. Does this mean anything to you? I am planning a trip out of the country tomorrow and can t get to a dr until I get home. Meantime pain is bothersome but not yet unbearable. Have had it for 4 days.
The report indicates a high level of red blood cells in the urine. In my daily practice the presence of red blood cells in urine is commonly related to the presence of a kindly stone. It should be evaluated through an abdominal ultrasound. I also recommend to drink a lot of liquids and especially cranberry juice to flush out the bacteria in the urine.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
