General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Uncontrolled blood sugar is the root cause and it is quite common with people with very high blood sugar values. Consult a nephrologist and get evaluated. Make sure that his renal function test is well within the normal range.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
