What Does This Urinalysis Report Specify?

Hello Doc, According to my result in urinalysis...color=Yellow..Transparency=slightly turbid... pH=5.0 ... Specifically Gravity = 1.020 ...Albumin=Negative ...Glucose=Negative ...Epithelial Cells =Moderate... Mucus Threads = Moderate... RBC =0-2 ...WBC = 1-3 ... Bacteria =Moderate...what does it means?

Understand your concern
First comapre your report with normal urine analysis

Color – Yellow (light/pale to dark/deep amber)
Clarity/turbidity – Clear or cloudy
pH – 4.5-8
Specific gravity – 1.005-1.025
Glucose - ≤130 mg/d
Ketones – None
Nitrites – Negative
Leukocyte esterase – Negative
Bilirubin – Negative
Urobilirubin – Small amount (0.5-1 mg/dL)
Blood - ≤3 RBCs
Protein - ≤150 mg/d
RBCs - ≤2 RBCs/hpf (Normal)
WBCs - ≤2-5 WBCs/hpf
Squamous epithelial cells - ≤15-20 squamous epithelial cells/hpf
Casts – 0-5 hyaline casts/lpf
Crystals – Occasionally
Bacteria – None
Yeast - None


Bacteria suggest mild urinary tract infection or may be urine is contaminated after collection.

You should repeat the test after sterile precaution in early morning mid stream urine.

Just drink lots of water
Do not delay in empty the bladder.
Take tablet septra three times a day for three day
