Hi I mjohanna female 30 yrs. Old pls. Help me to explained what the result of my urinalysis test. Color- yellow Tranparency -turbid Reaction ph-6.0 Specific grav-1.005 Blood-+4 Protein(albumin)-negative Sugar(glucose)-nnegative Red cells 8-12 White cells 5-8 Epithelial cells moderate Bacteria- many Mucus threads-few

Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of urine analysis is as follows:
The physical characters of urine -color, pH and specific gravity are within normal limits.
Turbidity of urine is seen in cases of elevated proteins or infection is the urine.
Absence of proteins and sugar is a normal finding.
Presence of white blood cells and bacteria is suggestive of bacterial infection in the urine.
Presence of red blood cells in urine can be due to bleeding in urinary tract.
Thus, overall there is presence of infection in the urine which requires anti-bacterial treatment.
