What Does This Urine Analysis Result For Pain During Urination Indicate?

Good day,I m experiencing painful urination since three days ago and this morning, there was blood in my urine.I consulted a urologist and ordered a urinalysis. Doctor told me to come back next week without seeing medical results.Urinalysis revealed high count of wbc (13/hpf), high epithelial (11/hpf) but normal bacteria (7/hpf).Does this mean I don t have UTI? Should I see another doctor but this time with urinalysis results?

Hi,
Thanks for writing your query.
After reading your post,Iit seems that you are having Urinary Tract Infection ( UTI ). I would suggest that you should get a Culture and Sensitivity test of urine done. This will help in knowing the causative organisms of the infection and the appropriate antibiotic for the treatment. Drink lots of water daily. Further medical management can be planned according to the reports of the above mentioned investigation.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Thanks.
