My name got hemorrhagic stroke 23 days back. She has right sided weakness. She is bed ridden & treatment is carry on. Urinary catheter passed & i do urine R/E for her which shows: Urinary Sugar: Nil, Urinary albumin: Nil, pH: acidic, Color: Pale yellow, Pus cells: Numerous, RBC s: 2-4/HPF, Epithelial cells: 2-3/HPF. What will be the treatment option for her.
All the parameter in urine analysis are normal except pus cell. Normal pus cell value is 5/hpf, but numerous pus cell could be due to urinary tract infection. Take following advises: Tablet septran Ds Tablet nitrozolium and pyridium Syrup cital Give plenty of water and juice of cranberry, orange and the pine apple Hope this may help you
