Hello,

You are suffering from UTI. It is recurrent and now you have pus cells in urine. Pus includes dead skin cells, bacteria and white blood cells. Pus in urine is indicative that the body is combating an infection in the lower or upper urinary tract. Take plenty of water, cranberry juice, cucumber juice, vitamin C, avoid spicy foods, coffee, tea, etc.

Get repeat urinalysis (R/E and C/S) done. Get treated with the specific antibiotics indicated in the report. Get clinically examined by a urologist to rule out any other pathology causing you symptoms. Get required imaging tests done. Commonly, a course of Bactrim / Septra is given. If you are sensitive or allergic to Bactrim, then you may be treated with a course of Norfloxacin or Augmentin. Stay away from addictions if any.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Hi,

Having a complex anatomy, UTI tends to recur and takes long to heal. Recurrence of infection is increased when urine becomes concentrated. Actually drinking sufficient water helps earlier relief and cure of the condition.

I would suggest urine culture and sensitivity test to know exact type of infection and also effective antibiotic. Please consult your urologist to discuss about the test. Get effective antibiotic prescribed also the needful duration for cure. Your doctor may ask for repeated courses after a gap of antibiotic free days.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
