What Does This Urine Test Report Indicate?

A female friend of mine in Pakistan has run a urine test in a clinic, and the results are Reaction 5.0 Albumin Nil Sugar Nil Pus cells 13-14 Epith cells 3-4 RBCs 9-10 The local doctor has told her she has a serious kidney and uretha tract infection and recommended her to drink cranberry juice and eat pills called Kranpro Plus Probioticus for 10 days. No antibiotics prescribed. I would like to ask you for a second opinion about the health condition with these lab test results, please. Kind regards, Kjell Samuelson Sweden

Understand your concern
Yes you are suffering from Urinary tract infection as pus cell present in the urine.
I advice you to go for urine culture and antibiotic sensitivity to confirm the infection and you will take antibiotic according to its report.
Antibiotic must be needed for Treatment of UTI.
I advice you following medicine till your report will come.
Tablet septran plus nitrozolium, tablet pyridium
Syrup cidal 1-2 tablespoonful in half glass of water for 3 times per day.
Maintain pelvic hygiene.
Drink lots of fluids and take juice of cranberry, orange and pineapple.
Always empty the bladder completely and do not delay in empty the bladder.
You also have to take antibiotic according to culture report to prevent recurrence.
Also go for urine culture report after finising antibiotics or after 14 days to check clearance of infections.
So consult the other urologist or ask to same doctor for antibiotics.
