What Does This Urine Test Result Indicate?

Hi Doctor, A friend of mine did Swab and Urine MCS. The result yielded moderate growth of Staph.spp. The lab result shows that the bacteria is sensitive to Ampiclox ++ and Levofloxaxin ++. What is the dosage she is supposed to take and how many days for thorough cure? She is a woman of 34years. Thanks

Well come to HCM
Levofloxacin 500 mg twice in day for 7 days would give good result, some time UTI becomes little difficult to treat in female patients, infection may reoccurs and so treatment need to be taken under medical supervision, underlying cause of infection would be more important and this need to be treated simultaneously if found, hope this information helps, take care, have a nice day.
