What Does This Uterus Scan Report Indicate?
I am 44yrs old, 5' 3" tall and 195lbs. I got results from a ultrasound today and I would like to have it explained to me please as I am not able to see my regular doctor until next week. The report reads
The uterus appaers anteverted with dimensions 81x65x54mm.
A 48x46mm fibroid is seen projecting from the anterior wall.
The myometrial wall appears coarse in echotexture.
A 4mm proliferative phase endometrium is seen.
There is reduced endo-myometrial differentation noted.
The appearances are suggestive of the presence of adenomyosis.
The ovaries appear normal. Left ovary measures 9cc and the right ovary 5cc.
No free fluid is seen.Can you explain these results as best as possible.
