hello sir, i m 20 y my widal test report is like
salmonella typhi O positive 1/160
salmonella typhi H positive 1/80
salmonella paratyphi A negative
salmonella paratyphi B negative
what is the meaning of this report is in typhoid fever or not . please tell me sir urjent thank you.

Looking at the results, the titre of Salmonella typhi O being 1/160 indicates typhoid fever infection. You do not have any parathyroid fever.
You can followup for confirmation with rising titres after a week, if required and if treatment is started.

You require treatment for typhoid fever.
