What Does This Widal Test Result Indicate?

Hello doctor, I have done blood test last night and got the report this morning stating Blood for widal! AGGLUTINATION TITLE SALMONELLA TYPHI O 1: 160 dil SALMONELLA TYPHI H 1: 80 dil SALMONELLA TYPHI AH 1:20 dil SALMONELLA TYPHI BH 1: 20 dil What does that mean? Can you please advise

Hello dear
I understand your concern
widal! AGGLUTINATION TITLE SALMONELLA TYPHI O 1: 160 dilution suggests active typhoid infection.
I would suggests to consult the MD physician and take proper treatment of the typhoid fever.
Doctor will give following advises:
Tablet azithromycin
Tablet acetaminophen, tablet rantac
Drink plenty of water to maintain hydration
Take homemade fresh fruit juice
Take soft diet like rice, curd, banana, khichdi
Take bed rest.
Take outside food and water
Repeat the test after and during treatment to know the response of the treatment and clearance of the infection
