What Does This X-ray Report Indicate?

I have an xray result of fine fibroids noted in the right upper lobe. Heart and the rest of the structure ard unremarkable. And has an interpretation of pulmonary fibrosis, right upper lobe. Do i have something to worry about? As I researched fibroids are scars in the lungs. Does that mean that I have a scar in my lungs?

Hi,

Fibroids and pulmonary fibrosis mean that part of the lung has lost its function, and there is no mean to return it back. You need to follow up every few months by X-rays.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
