Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Osteophytes are bony spurs formed with advancement of age - it is an age related change which may lead to compression of spinal nerves. Currently, the inter-vertebral spaces are well maintained thus, there is nothing to worry. Back exercises and pain killers will help to resolve the symptom of back ache.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
