Hello and welcome to HCM,
The interpretation of X-ray chest is as follows:
There is presence of infiltrates and nodularity in the upper lobes of left lung field.
Ideally, the lung fields should be clear without any infiltrate, nodularity or cavitation.
Presence of infiltrates and nodularity suggest involvement of lung parenchyma.
Lung parenchyma can get involved in infections like
tuberculosis, interstitial lung disease, etc.
The X-ray also shows that the lateral sinus of left lung field is blunted.
The lateral sinus of both right and left lungs is sharp in health.
The sinus is blunted when there is accumulation of fluid, blood or pus in the
sinuses.
Thus, there is accumulation of fluid in left sinus.
On the basis of these X-ray findings, a probably diagnosis of pauci-baciilary tuberculosis is suggested.
Pauci-bacillary tuberculosis refers to tuberculosis with low load of tubercular bacilli.
Further investigations will be required to confirm the diagnosis.
I suggest you to consult your physician for further work up and treatment.
Thanks and take care
