Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi Dr . I suffering from fever and headache for 1 month now and i done X ray on the chest . The report showen accentuated bronchovascular markings . Otherwise everything normal like cardic size and everything. My age is 30 . What that means becuz i feel worry . Thanks
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. Increased or accentuated bronchovascular markings in a x-ray chest indicates that there is respiratory congestion and infection. It indicates Lower Respiratory Tract Infection (LRTI). That is the reason you have fever and headache. If you are able to bring out sputum, kindly get its culture and sensitivity test done. Based on the report you need to take appropriate antibiotic course. Along with it you need to take decongestant and mucolytic syrup containing Ambroxyl and Chlorpheniramine maleate. Kindly consult Chest Physician in this regard for proper advise. Hope the information provided would be helpful. All the best.
