Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
The result of my husband chest x-ray (PA) are suspicious opacities are seen in the right upper lung field superimposed on osseous structures, the rest of the lungs are unremarkable, the heart is not enlarged, the trachea is midline, the costphrenic angles and diaphragms are intact and osseous structures and soft tissues are unremarkable. Remarks : An apicolordotic view is suggested for further evaluation. Please give us advise what does it mean? I am worried because my husband was scheduled next week by urologist doctor for pcnl of left kidney due to kidney stone. Your advise is highly appreciated.Thank you.
HI Well come to HCM I really appreciate your concern, the radiological report does not reveal anything in specific and in absence of respiratory symptoms it is nothing to worry, still report can be correlated with clinical condition if ever have of respiratory symptoms, hope this information helps, take care and have a nice day.
