What Does Thread Like Discharge In Urine Indicate While Having Viral Infection?

I have had bad abdominal pain followed by diarrhea for two weeks now. I visited a gp who said it was probably a viral infection and it should clear up on its own. I have seen no improvement and today i noticed small thread like things when i went to the loo. what is it?

Small thread like things are intestinal worms.
It develops in our intestine after eating infected food or from dirty hands by us or others.
It also cause diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
Please consult your physician for proper medication.
Don't worry it is curable disease.
Take oral re hydration solution with zinc.
Take fruit juices more.
