What Does Threatened Abortion In The Scanning Report Indicate?
GM There..my wife is 10 weeks and 1 day pregnant...but today she faces heavy bleeding late night....we rushed to the hospital and doctor did scanning...in scanning as per doctor everything looks good...baby heart beat is reggular...os is closed cervix lenght is 3.2cm...doctor said for complete bed rest but in scanning report summary they mentioned threatened abortion...why so?

It possible that fetal heart beat is good,but there is a sub-chorionic bleding/hematoma or weak decidual reaction in scanning ,so doctor has reported like Threatened Miscarriage. But Nothing to worry please take T sustain 300 mg oral tablet once in day till 14 wks minimum it will definately reduce chance of miscarriage.Please avoid inter course or long jouney and take rest ,Absolute bed rest is not mandatory,She can do her routine house hold work
