What Does Thyroid Function Test Results Indicate?

Sir,

My daughter, Arsha, 13 years, female, bulged out in the right side of the neck and when tested for TFT, the results shows like this..
T3- 109.0ng/dl
T4- 3.5 ug/dl
TSH- >150.00 ulU/ml...doctor please guide what to do with this. Doctor advised me to take scan too..Pls guide me....kavitha

hi, you need to go for USG of thyroid region and also go for FNAC of thyroid swelling. from TFT only we cant reach to the diagnosis. USG will tell you what kind of swelling is that and FNAC will give you exact diagnosis. whether it is colloid nodule or thyroiditis or neoplasm.go fot that.
