What Does Tight Sensation In The Stomach During Pregnancy Indicate?

I am 36 weeks pregnant and having a very tight stomach which is highly uncomfortable. Also, I can see my baby continuously protruding on one side making a contour on right side under my ribs. Is it normal? What is the best position to sleep in this case?

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Yes, these kind of sensations and feelings are normal in later stages of pregnancy.
So no need to worry much.
Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
You can take antacid like ranitidine.
For sleeping, best position is left lateral position.
You can also sleep on your back (straight).
But never sleep on your abdomen or in right lateral position.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
