What Does Tingling Foot And Ankle With Front Foot Pain Suggest?

I I have had front foot pain under my second toe since the end of jan. I have gone to my Podistrist and he said ice and elevate. That did not work and went back and he put a soft cast on and again rest and elevate. I went back as the pain had stopped and now are back within 4days. He cut off the bandage and now I have numbness on my big toe and tingling feeling for the rest of my foot to my ankle. What can I do to get the feeling back?
