What Does Tingling Sensation In The Hands Indicate?

I am freaking out because I fell asleep with a hair tie and took it off when i woke up because of slight tingling in hand. it stopped but then a day later and if i hit my forearm on something there is a tingling sensation or if i hit the side of my hand. Will this return to normal..

it appears to be neurogenic and irritation of nerve head. consult neurologist for examination and advise on treatment. can start taking neurobion fort daily for one month.
