What Does Tingling Sensation In The Legs Indicate?

my mother aged 81 has tingling legs, she said kinda like under the skin, and kinda itchy, however, it is not on the skin, it s in the legs . also, she has an itchy scalp and has a couple of red spots. are these two symptoms connected, and what could be the cause of both/either? My mom doesn t know if she should seek help from a family practitioner or a dermatologist...... whatdo you think?

Pruritis of the legs, scalp if long standing could be due to Eczematous Dermatitis. This is aggravated by one having dry skin. She could use a skin softner like petroleum jelly ( Vaseline), on the area but if the itching still persists, it is better to consult a Dermatologist.
