What Does Tingling Sensation In The Right Arm Indicate?

I have a tingling in my right arm. It has gone on for a couple of days. NO OTHER heart problem symptoms. I have noticed I have had a bit of a balance problem. I am a 57yo white female that is 5 7 and weigh 200 pounds. The only meds I currently take are prozac daily and prilosec. I have some degenerative neck problems and have had one doctor suggest I may have carpel tunnel syndrome. My dad had neuropathy in his legs as well as essential tremors. My brother has Parkinsons and my cousin has MS. What type of physician should I go to for these problems?

Hello and Welcome to Ask A doctor. I have read your query and here is my advice.
Tingling in the arm can be a symptom of an impeding stroke and as this can be devastating, I feel you should see a cardiologist initially. Go as soon as possible!
If you are cleared by the heart doctor, then the tingling and balance problem suggest you should be evaluated by a neurologist.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions, I will be happy to help.
