What Does Tingling Sensation On The Left Foot Indicate?
For over five years I have had pins and needles intermitently in the 3rd and 4 toes of my left foot. It mysteriously come and go without and intervention. About three months ago it progressed to constant in the same toes and sometimes in the ball of my foot, the later border of my foot, the lateral border of my calf and half way up the lateral border of my thigh. The tingling and numbness always travels distal to proximal. I did not fall or have any injury to my leg or foot. Eight years ago I had an MRI of my back which showed some spinal stenosis and mild bulging at L4,L4, S1. I have an appointment scheduled with a neurologist in May. Do you think this is a peripheral entrapment or is the source from compression from my back?.
