What Does Ultrasound Scan Report Of Liver Indicate?

What does coarse echotexture of liver means where liver and gall bladder are normal on ultrasound?? On ultrasound liver is normal in outline,shows coarse echotexture,no focal lesions.intra hepatic vacularity ,biliary radicles normal.CBD normal in caliber. Gallbladder normal ,walls &contents show no abnormality Pancreas size ,outline,echo normal.Peri pancreatic planes well defined.

I really appreciate your concern, this is normal ultrasonography findings, here the clinical complaints is not being given, although clinical findings and the ultrasonography finding need to be correlate, hope information helps, take care, have a nice day.

Welcome to HCM!

Coarse echotexture of the liver with out any other abnormality detected on routine ultrasound is suggestive of fatty liver. This results from excess of fat being deposited in the liver.
A change in the life style and the dietary modifications will help out to reduce the fatty liver.
Daily physical exercise, avoid alcohol (excuse me if you do not consume), eat lots of fresh vegetables and fruits that contain many anti oxidants to prevent the fatty liver.
Get your routine lab tests done like Fasting blood glucose, cholesterol, Triglycerides, etc.
