What Does Unfolded Aorta Mean?

Hi Doctor, My husands got all his test done and the results are:

1. Boderline ECG

2. QT Interval, short for rate QTC Chest Xray report:

1. Cadiomegaly seen

2. Aorta is unfolded

3. Left Hilum enlarged

Are these test interelated and okay.

Thanks for writing in.


1. Boderline ECG

2. QT Interval, short for rate QTC

This needs to be discussed with echo cardiography findings.

Chest Xray report:

1. Cadiomegaly seen
This means heart size is enlarged.

2. Aorta is unfolded
This is age related finding and not important.

3. Left Hilum enlarged
This needs slightly more introspection depending in you have any clinical symptoms like cough, change of voice, any lymph nodes.
